Friday - Sunday, July 21-23: Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival. This year's Ole Towne Festival opens Friday evening with local Middle School and High School students in the Showcase of Stars competition; the winners will perform on Sunday at Walters Park in the Bandshell. Food will be available from various venders and there will be activities for the children. Friday, July 21, 6-10pm; Shappell Park, South Main Street, Phillipsburg. On Saturday, Come enjoy the opening ceremony of Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival which includes Bandshell, The Math Challenge, bingo, O'Grady-Quinlan School of Irish Dance, a 5K run, plenty of food and games, and a car show at the baseball field. 12-9pm; Walters Park off Warren Street, Phillipsburg. On Sunday, check out the Showcase of Stars winners, performances by Vince Pettinelli Orchestra, Lucky 7, Jesse Rivera, Xochiquetzal, PYST Day Camp will be presenting "Once Upon a Mattress," bingo, an equestrian show, and end the night with a fireworks display sponsored by PNC Bank.
