Hoedown for Humanity: Saturday, September 16, 5-9 PM. Barbecue, square and line dancing, music, children’s entertainment, chair massage, tricky tray, 50/50, bake sale, more! Friend-raiser and fund-raiser in partnership with Township of Jefferson for local homes being built by Morris Habitat for Humanity. Tickets in advance (by September 11): $15 adults, $7.50 children 13-18, free children under 13. (Tickets at the door: $20 adults, $10 children 13-18.)

Morris Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. A self-help housing group, Habitat works with low-income families to build decent, affordable housing. Morris Habitat expects to have 30 homes completed in Morris County by the end of the year.
