Meet Linn Pierson of Palisades Interstate Park (PIP), Deb Davidson of Tenafly Nature Center, and Nancy Romanik, program director of the Weis Ecology Center, at the PIP headquarters in New Jersey (directions sent upon registration), to begin a full day of Bald Eagle watching. The search will take us up the Hudson and across the New York border, with possible stops at Bear Mountain, Croton Point, and George’s Point. Dress for the weather and bring your best optics. Last year’s highlights included many eagles of varying ages and Peregrine Falcons. Limit: 15. Cost (includes handouts): $8 members, $12 nonmembers.
