This workshop will introduce you to the skills involved with basic ice climbing. Topics include ice climbing techniques; placement of crampons, ice tools & axes, ice screw belays, belaying a leader & environmental awareness. Weâ€™ll climb frozen waterfalls and gullies in the DWGNRA. Instructors, Mountain Sports Adventures, accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association. Fee $348 ($387 nonmembers).
