Ready to move from 3-season backpacking to winter camping? Join us for an introduction to winter camping techniques, ethics, navigation, preparation for winter weather and snowshoeing (if appropriate for conditions). We’ll prepare and review basic skills Saturday before heading out for a night on the trail. No winter camping or snowshoeing experience is necessary but you should be in good physical condition and equipped for the snow and cold. Instructors, David Childs & Rich Petteruti.
