Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of Butler! Railroading has been very important to Butler for over 100 years! Ride our classic Steam train through the beautiful Northern New Jersey Countryside. The train is made up of vintage railroad cars from the Long Island, Southern, and New York & Susquehanna Railroad. The train leaves from the station in Butler on both Saturday and Sunday traveling through the beautiful Pequonnock Watershed to Newfoundland and return. This is a very rare trip. Trip times are 10:00 am, 12 noon, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The trips last 1.5 hours and you will have time to stroll through the train, eat in the diner, or visit the gift car. This is a family trip all are sure to enjoy! The Steam Train trips will take place in conjunction with many other events celebrating Butlers Centennial.
