Bertoni sculpture Garden
Kings Highway
Sugar Loaf, New York
Once a year, on the last Sunday in July (this year it's July 31st) from noon to six we celebrate the life and legacy of Bill Perry. Bill was born in the Village of Chester NY and died in Sugar Loaf (the Town of Chester NY) on July 17, 2007 at the age of 49. Along the way he became a world class blues guitarist. We honor him, not only for his greatness on the guitar, but for his humble spirit, and his willingness to help and mentor young musicians.
This is a free event. It begins at noon and ends at 6PM. Bring a blanket, some chairs , a cooler and enjoy an afternoon of great music in tribute to a great musician. At 5:45 we will present the Music for Humanity Bill Perry Scholarship award and two additional Music for Humanity scholarships to graduating high school seniors to help them continue their music education. Thank you to everyone who has donated time, energy and money to make this happen.
If the spirit moves you come join us for Bill Perry Day.
If the spirit sings to you please make a tax-deductible donation to Music for Humanity send it to Music for Humanity, PO Box 359, Chester NY 10918. We are all volunteers at Music for Humanity so virtually all of your donations will go directly into our scholarship fund.
