Learn the skills to make backpacking and camping an experience the whole family will enjoy. Every activity and subject will focus on 'kid-involvement,' as we discuss how to trip plan, check equipment, prepare food, navigate, and tread lightly upon the land. We will spend one night camping out and cover a moderate distance while backpacking. Group equipment is provided and some personal gear can be provided upon request.
