Ringwood Manor is a National Historic Landmark set within the expanse of a lovely landscaped garden and surrounded by a state park and hiking trails. It's all in one place: American history, leisurely walks, picnicking, biking, hiking - and it's easy to get to, with a big parking lot. The grounds are open seven days a week until dusk, and the manor house is open for tours from 10 to 3, every day except Monday and Tuesday.
