Every table at MexCali live has a great view of the stage
MexiCali Live is a general admission venue. Seating is available by reservations then by “first-come, first-served” .
Floor plans change nightly depending on the show, from fully seated to standing with very limited seating for dinner.
The early you make your reservation, the closer your you will be to the stage. Please be aware that tables are reserved for folks having dinner.

Our dinner started with the Crab Cakes that were a friend's reccommendation and became repeated order each time visiting Mexicali Live. Then we tried the Mexicali Shrimp which was fabulous. Dinner was completed with fried plantain chimichangas and ice cream. The french-pressed coffee was a delicious accompaniment to the dessert. After dinner the entertainment started. The room at Mexicali is intimate with a great sound system. We sat on the side of the room in a booth seat with a perfect view of the stage. . MORE INFO

Just off Route 23 is a delightful Italian Restaurant named Milano
We stopped at Milano Restaurant for a late lunch and were greeted by the casual elegance of the restaurant's dining room. The service was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is b.y.o.b. and the menu is reasonably priced; soup and salad was included with the entree!

We started our lunch with mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat which were delicious. The mussels in marinara sauce were fresh and clean. The lentil soup was light with a very good homemade quality about it.
The entrees were attractively plated with satisfying portion of fresh and tasty ingredients. Overall, we found that Milanos provides great food and a great value, we will revisit soon!

Monicas House Special, Osso Buco served over fresh fettuccini

Monicas Restaurant in downtown Pompton Lakes offers fine Italian/Continental Cuisine in a cozy dining room or a small outdoor seating area. The house special of Osso Buco was excellent. A tender shank of veal is braised with aromatic vegatables and sesonings and is served over fresh fettuccini pasta. A glass of Cabernet from Monicas bar adds the final touch to this delicious dinner. The wait staff was very attentive creating a fine dining experience. The table setting was also impressive with fine china and crispy fresh rolls as well as a plate of olive oil, seasoned slices of toasted bread and olives. Monicas is open for lunch and dinner as well as private parties and take out orders.
